Here are the next five books I enjoyed reading and reviewing. I recommend them for your reading pleasure too! Please check out my Goodreads reviews.
Cradle Gift, Sleeping Beauties, Hustle: The Life Changing Effects of Constant Motion, No Middle Name: The Complete Collected Jack Reacher Short Stories, Michael’s Blood (The Vampire Reclamation Project #1)
A beautiful tale of loss, legacy, love and adventure sprinkled with a touch of magic. Readers of YA and fantasy books and faeries will love it!
I’m just going to spill it out: For the good old times’ sake and for the good new times yet to come, thank you, Stephen, and thanks, Owen, for writing this book with your legendary father!
Is this one of the best King’s book? Sleeping Beauties is not flawless, but is the comparison needed when I liked the story and enjoyed the thrill and excitement while going faster and faster through the 700-and-I-wouldn’t-mind-if-there-were-more pages of this King-size novel? This is the King I like and I look forward to the new Under-the-Dome-like TV show. I see the potential!
Writing a book or a story in a few days is not a strange thing to me. But writing, producing and publishing it in just 7 days, that borders with something unbelievable, crazy. It’s done, though! How? By breaking the rules, keeping your head down, making something happen, grinding, getting creative, putting blinders on, trying again and again and again, ignoring naysayers, finding the joy in fear, doing the unthinkable, constant motion. In one word: hustling.
Read this book to get inspired to move constantly and never stop on your way to desired success.
No Middle Name: The Complete Collected Jack Reacher Short Stories (Adresa nepoznata: Zbirka kratkih priča o Jacku Reacheru) by Lee Child
I don’t believe I’m saying this, but this might be the best Jack Reacher book. As a regular fan of novels over short stories, it would be a sacrilege in other circumstances. But Lee Child’s Jack Reacher short stories are so good I’m left stupefied and wondering.
S. S. Bazinet proved us that the vampire stories are not always what we expect them to be. When I downloaded and started reading Michael’s Blood, I was surprised not to get the usual taste of gore, violence and eroticism. Instead, after divine’s intervention, it was substituted with a strong dose of friendship, love, romance, loyalty, humor, and hope. A mixture that seems impossible created a likeable and refreshing read with real and vulnerable characters.
Happy reading!
